so i've been going through every single cd i own and ripping it to my hard drive. partly for the ease of ipod updating, but also because i gave away my radio to a certain someone a few years ago. it's also a bitch to dig through stacks upon stacks of cd's looking for what i want to hear... it's much easier to go to the mp3 folder and cue up a track/album. anywho, it's taking a terribly long time. i could just download a bunch of it, but in ripping them myself i know the id3 tags will be correct, and i'll have them at a bitrate that i want them at. nerd out.

a pointless post, but i'm ripping cd's and terribly bored. i can't read proper cause i have to put the book down every minute or so to change cd's. double sigh. i need a cd ripping monkey to do this for me while i'm at work/eating/sleeping/playing video games.
