is there a ghost in my house
so i've been thinking a lot about how i hate the internet. don't get me wrong now, i wouldn't be able to function if i lost my fancy schmancy cable connection. it's mostly the musical aspect of it. the album leaks, etc. album release dates have lost their appeal to the masses. i remember back when tuesdays were the day of the week. the afternoon spent at the record shop going through all the new releases, indie and mainstream. now, for the most part, it's just another day of the week. i try to keep the feeling alive, if only for nostalgic reasons. i'm not saying i don't download music, shit yeah i do. but if i'm liking what i'm hearing, i'm out there taking that album off the shelf. it's not just the music for me, the album art, packaging, it's all part of it. it's like having only part of a painting/photograph. you need the total package man.
on a completely different note, the new skate shoe.
